The University of Lagos (UNILAG) published its 2026/2027 UTME merit admission cut-off marks on 16 September 2026. This marked the start of the admission phase for candidates who took part in the UNILAG Post-UTME screening.

How to check your UNILAG admission status
- UNILAG portal: Log in to the UNILAG admission portal with your JAMB registration number and the password you created during screening. Check the admission status section.
- JAMB CAPS: Log in to the JAMB e-Facility portal and open CAPS. If UNILAG has offered you admission, accept it there. See our CAPS guide.
Merit, catchment and other lists
UNILAG, like other federal universities, admits candidates under different criteria approved by the federal government. The merit list is based purely on aggregate score. Catchment (for candidates from the university’s catchment states) and educationally less developed states (ELDS) considerations usually come with different cut-offs. UNILAG’s cut-off table included catchment columns for Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo states.
