How to check your WAEC result in 2026
WAEC changed the way candidates access result checkers. According to the Council:
- Result-checker PINs are generated online through WAEC’s digital certificate platform using your National Identification Number (NIN).
- Smart Identity Cards with PINs have been discontinued.
- Candidates get five free PIN attempts. Extra PINs can be bought at WAEC offices.
- Digital certificates are available within 48 hours of release; hard copies are expected within 90 days.
