How to Check Your NECO Result Online With a Token

NECO results are checked online using a result token bought from the NECO results portal. Here is how to do it.

What you need

• Your NECO registration number.
• The exam year and exam type (SSCE Internal for June/July or SSCE External for November/December).
• A result token.

Step 1: Buy a result token

1. Visit the official NECO results portal (results.neco.gov.ng).
2. Create an account or log in.
3. Choose the option to purchase a token and pay online with your card.
4. The token will be shown in your account. Copy it.

Step 2: Check your result

1. On the results portal, select your exam year and exam type.
2. Enter your token and registration number.
3. Click Check Result.
4. Print or download the result.

Common problems

• Token already used: Each token is valid for a limited number of checks. Buy a new token if needed.
• Result withheld: Contact your school or the nearest NECO office.
• Wrong registration number: Check your NECO photocard or registration slip.

Next steps

Upload your NECO result on the JAMB portal at an accredited CBT centre so universities can see it during admission. If you are combining NECO with WAEC, upload both.
