How to choose
- Timing: pick the exam whose results will be out before you need them for screening or admission.
- Registration still open: for 2026, only NECO GCE late registration remained open in late October.
- Format: if you’re more comfortable with computers, both now use CBT for many papers.
- Your course requirements: some courses require one sitting, so a second exam won’t help there. See combining results.
Tips
- Register only the subjects you need to improve, plus any your course requires.
- Use your correct NIN and name, matching your other documents.
- Once results are out, upload them to JAMB immediately.
