The University of Benin (UNIBEN) released its approved 2026/2027 departmental cut-off marks in August 2026. The figures are aggregates and are split into merit, catchment and ELDS (educationally less developed states) columns. A dash means no figure was published for that column.

What stands out
- Medicine (81.25) is UNIBEN’s most competitive course, close to UI’s 80.00 and below UNILAG’s 83.425.
- Engineering cut-offs at UNIBEN sit just above 50, far lower than at UNILAG, where Mechanical Engineering’s merit cut-off was 79.275.
- Computer Science (56.00 merit) is much lower than at UNILAG (82.05) and UI (74.125).
Meeting a cut-off doesn’t guarantee admission, because places are limited. Compare your aggregate with our aggregate calculator, and read how merit, catchment and ELDS lists work.
