The Émile Boutmy Scholarship is Sciences Po’s main scholarship for high-achieving non-EU international students, which includes Nigerians. It supports both master’s and undergraduate students at one of France’s leading universities for the social sciences.
Key 2027 deadlines
| Level | Application deadline |
|---|---|
| Master’s (next round) | 29 November 2026 (an earlier round closed on 18 October 2026) |
| Undergraduate (for applicants from foreign secondary schools) | 13 January 2027 |
What it covers
The scholarship is primarily a tuition fee award. For master’s students, reports describe it as a tuition exemption worth up to €18,500 a year for two years. It does not usually cover full living costs in Paris, so you will need a plan for accommodation and living expenses.
